At the end of February, we organized another edition of the WP Meetup Fryslân at our office in Leeuwarden. Charlotte Bax was our guest speaker and she gave a presentation on the importance of making your (WordPress) site sustainable and how to go about it.
Making your website sustainable: why is it important and how do you tackle it?
Charlotte's presentation was very interesting and also a very relevant in the current IT landscape with the rise of AI and the growing focus on sustainable IT solutions. What's more, it cuts both ways: optimizing your website for sustainability often also has a positive impact on the site's performance and ease of use.

Afterglow & after-dinner drinks
After Charlotte's presentation, we continued talking and drinking for a long time. First at our office, but later also in the city at specialty beer bar De Markies. Besides being interesting, it was also very pleasant!
