XXL Hosting is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. After all these years, it is time for a new name to lead us into the future: Superspace
In addition to the new name, we are also introducing a new corporate identity and website. Countless improvements will soon follow to make our hosting services even more "super," which we have been working hard on for the past year.
But much remains the same. So you can just keep counting on our super friendly service, super reliable technology and super confident expertise. And don't worry. We haven't been acquired and the team remains unchanged.
What improvements can you expect?
Superspace is more than just a new name. We want to make our entire service "super," and we have many improvements in store for you. Some of the improvements you can expect in the near future are:
- SuperShield: the very best protection for your website and email against all Internet dangers, such as DDoS attacks, malware, spam and intercepted passwords. Free with each hosting package.
- CloudPress: a hosting solution designed specifically for WordPress sites that need extra speed and scalability. It combines the simplicity of shared hosting with the power of proprietary servers.
- Improved dashboard: our dashboard gets easier to use, gets more features, and will give you more insight on how your websites are doing in terms of security, speed and capacity.
- Enhanced partner program: for our resellers, in addition to a better pricing model for hosting and domain names, we will also introduce the ability to create subusers in our dashboard.
- Mailspace: an improved, reliable and privacy-friendly email service, which you can scale up to hundreds of GBs without any problems. Never a full mailbox again.
Administrative changes
The next few months will be a transition period, during which we will move step-by-step from XXL Hosting to Superspace:
- Starting February 1, invoices, notifications and other emails from Superspace Hosting B.V. will be sent with an @superspace.com email address as the sender. We will continue to work with Mollie as our payment provider, so the bank account number will not change.
- Our Chamber of Commerce number becomes 01089811 and our VAT number becomes NL818386952B01.
