What is contact verification?

During a contact verification, we check whether the information provided is still up to date. The information we verify is the domain holder's information, such as their address and contact details.

Where Action Is Needed

Some TLDs require contact verification; the most common of these is the German .de domain extension, but it is certainly not the only one.

What action is needed?

You have received an email from our email address (support@superspace.nl), the email will look like the one below and have the subject line “Please confirm your contact information for future domain name registrations“. Of course, the details will vary from case to case.

As you can see, there's a link in this email. We understand that people are often hesitant to click on links in emails these days, but in this case, it's legitimate. Not sure? Please contact Please contact us to confirm this. It's a white-label link, so it's “mydomainprovider.com” instead of “superspace.nl”.

As soon as you click this link, you'll see the screen below; of course, the information here will vary, and it also differs depending on the TLD. On the screen below, you can confirm the address and contact information.

Difference between an end customer and a partner

The screenshots we used above show what end customers see. If you are one of our partners or resellers, you will have your own white-label version of this email. In that case, your company name will appear at the top, your contact information will be in the footer, and our company colors will not be used.
